Dragging old houses to life is a passion for us at M J Harris Carpentry. Together with M J Harris Painting we’ve managed a remarkable transformation to the interior of this Tullamarine home.
Gone are the arches from the 70’s that once were so popular, now the living area of this home has been opened up to provide a more friendly, useable living space for the family.
We’ve taken up the flooring, removed the archway between living and dinning rooms and widened the opening between the dinning and kitchen. The tiled floor in the kitchen has been taken up and now polished floor boards give a warm, welcoming feel to the home.

Luke pulled down our back pergola and rebuilt it as it was unsafe, rotted and falling down. I was surprised at how quickly it went up.
The final result looks great, and my first home is now my dream home. Thanks to Mike and the boys for a job well done.
